Day 1 – Meeting in Fiambala (1550m) and introductory talk. We will meet in Fiambala in the morning where you will meet the guides. Then a quick equipment check will take place. In the afternoon you will enjoy the Fiambala hot springs.
Day 2 – Transport to Hostería Cortaderas (3300m). Transfer to Hostería las Cortaderas to acclimatize and enjoy the typical landscape of the area.
Day 3 – Ascent to Coquena Hill (4100m). Trekking of approximately 6 hours of activity that allows us to continue with the acclimatization. Overnight at Hosteria las Cortaderas.
Day 4 – Transfer to Las Grutas refuge (4100m). After arriving and settling in, we will hike around the area to continue the acclimatization process. Acclimatization process. Overnight at the place.
Day 5 – Ascent to Falso Morocho Hill (4700 m) In order to continue acclimatizing we will make an ascent of approximately 3 hours to Falso Morocho Hill. Overnight in Las Grutas.
Day 6 – Summit day and return to Fiambala Transfer by 4×4 to 5100m. From there the ascent to the summit of San Francisco Volcano begins. San Francisco Volcano.
